Austin Collie...wait what!!?

So this past Sunday after Sarah left me for yet another week...let me tell you her leaving me is the hardest thing ever.  I will never care about anything more than my little girl.  She is my pride and joy and I love her so so so so so so so much!  Every single day or minute that I have to spend without her makes my insides turn.  I just like being able to give her baths at night and read her stories and do all the little fun activities she and I do together, so when she is not with me I feel as though I am missing a part of me.  However, this Sunday there was a young singles adults activity at my church and the guest speaker was none other than WR Austin Collie from the Indianapolis Colts.  Let me tell you I have only been into football for two seasons now, but I love the game.  I started watching last year which was Austin's first year and he was a great player!  Then I found out he was mormon and that just makes him even more cool!  So he had some great words and then at the end I got a picture with him!  What a way to start my week, however I got sick Sunday night making my week not start off so well, however I hope to start feeling better soon!!  I only have 5 more days till I see Sarah and I am going crazy!

Sarah's Birthday

For Sarah's 4th bday we worked in the morning and then later that afternoon we did so much stuff and we were exhausted!!! We went to chuck e cheese and played some video games, then we went to a spray park, and then we went to a different park, one without water lol and then the night ended at Applebee's Sarah's favorite restaurant and she ate mac n cheese and they gave her a fudge sundae! It was a good day!

Retherford Park

Sarah loves going to parks and so when she asked my if we could go randomly I said, "YES!" We plugged in a park into the GPS and went to play. This was a small park and there wasn't anyone there! So we got to run around the park and yell and scream all we wanted! We went down the big swirly slide and then there was this big rock that Sarah wanted to play on. So we were running around and then all of the sudden something went through my flip-flop and into my foot! I yelled cause it hurt, and I was trying to get it out and Sarah tried to play Dr. and normally that wouldn't be a problem, but it really HURT! I got it out and we still had a great time!

Edinburgh Premium Outlets

A month or two ago my Gram-gram came to visit after the family was up in Minnasota, and she wanted to go to Edinburgh Premium Outlets and I had to work so I didn't get to go with them which made me a little sad! So again no one was able to do anything with Sarah and I and I thought what a nice day we should go Edinburgh and it really was a spur of the moment thing. So Sarah and I listen to her music all the way there and it was about a 50 minute drive and she loves to sing so it was way fun. We get there and of course I take her picture because I do for everything, and we started to shop. The best part about Sarah is that she DOES like to shop! So we went to the Carter's Outlet and I got her this cute shirt ON SALE for the Fall/Winter season! Which it is sad I am not putting Sarah in toddler clothes anymore, maybe some 5t's here and there but I am going to be buying her the XS 4's in the kids section of most stores. I say that is is sad because that means Sarah is growing up!! On the way out of Carter's I see a $3 table of shirts and there is a Birthday Girl shirt for 3 dollars! So I bought it so she can wear it on her birthday, but the sad thing about that is I didn't take a picture of the shirt. So we get those two shirts at Carter and continue to the next store. I wanted to go to the OshKosh store so Sarah held my hand and we strolled along and found the OshKosh Store. We go in and I am looking around and I didn't find much that I liked, but I did find a light jacket for this Fall that was really cute for $14 and it was OshKosh!!!! I loved it! So I bought Sarah this light jacket and Sarah wanted to put it on. Let me tell you something, it was like 90 degrees outside, but Sarah insisted that she wear it, so I let her, and she walked for a good 2 minutes and then turns and pulls on my hand and says, "Mommy, I'm HOT." All I did was giggle a little and help her take it off. We went home after that because she got tired and it was hot, but we had so much fun!

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

So I got to go see Eclipse at midnight and it was SOOOOO awesome!!!! The reason I say this is because the entire theater was sold out! Yes, AMC in Castleton opened all their theaters for this event and that is 14 theaters! It was so awesome the whole atmosphere of the place was cool. My sister and I couldn't have been more excited! I didn't even like or want to like Twilight at first and then my best friend made me watch the first movie and I loved it and then I was talking to her brother about the books, and SO I took the first three books and read them before New Moon came out. It was a great movie and I can't wait to see breaking dawn.

Windsor Village Spray Park

It was a hot day and so we decided it would be a nice day to run around in some water!  So we went to Windsor Village Park on Shadeland Ave.  I love that Sarah loves these so much, she is my little water bug.  Her imagination is great!  Sometimes she pretends to be Arial, or a dolphin or fish!  She is so funny, we have two sand buckets, but she doesn't use them for sand she wants to use them to collect water and then dump it where ever she feels like she needs!  This was a fun day and she was full of smiles!!!

Sarah's First Talk

In my church the kids from the ages of 4 to 12 I think, go to what is called primary.  It is Sunday school for the little kiddos, but it is so much fun and I know because I have taught them.  To see all these wonderful children learning about the gospel and when they sing, oh my goodness it just touches your heart.  So every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month the kids give a little talk about some sort of church topic.  Sarah gave her first one and I was so excited.  As everyone by now knows I am a freak when it comes to taking pictures or capturing a video, I want to get every moment of Sarah's life I don't want anything to be left out.  So I am at church with my camera ready to take pictures and a video of her talk.  I did not get a video and I did not get pictures during, but I did get pics after.  Sarah gave her talk on the Holy Ghost because that was the theme of the month I believe.  She had practiced and practiced, but when it was time to do it she paniced a little and we cut out some lines from the talk, but over all I am so proud of my daughter!!  I can't wait for her to be baptized and know what a great blessing it is to have the Holy Ghost with you.  Sarah was also very excited for her Nana and G-pa to come and watch her speak.

The 4th of July 2010

I can't even begin to write how much fun I had on this 4th of July!!  I had bought Sarah the cutest shirt from the Children's Place that said America's sweetheart and she had blue and red shorts on, in addition to that Sarah had a very cute headband that looked like it had the flag on it, blue earrings and then she got her nails painted red!!  She was all ready to go in her Anerican Spirit!!!!!  We went out on the boat a few hours before the fireworks went off!  My best friend Carolyn and her daughter (my daughters best friend) Norah got to go with us and I was so happy!  So we went out and there was swimming and tubing and food and it was a great time.  I forgot my swimsuit and Sarah wanted to go swimming, SOOOOOO I jumped in with my clothes on because her happiness is more important and I wanted her to have a great time!  So we get done swimming and Sarah could not be more excited about seeing the fireworks so after the swimming and the tubing we go and find a spot to park and watch the fireworks!  So we find a spot and there is still like a hour away but all of the houses around us kept setting them off and Sarah would jump up and down in excitement!!!!!!!!  So the fireworks went off at 10:15 and they were wonderful and when they were finished all the boats were honking and everyone was screaming and it was great!  So I try to pull up the anchor and I can't get it I am like ok I know that I am not that weak!!!  So my dad tries to get it up and it was stuck on something!  I felt better about myself lol!! So we finally get the anchor up after we move the boat backwards, and my dad takes us down the right dock and then he is convinced that it is the wrong one so he turns around and we go down a different dock and so when he figures out we were going down the right one we turn around again and park in the right dock!  Everything about this night was perfect!!!!!!

Potter's Bridge Park

I jsut can't tell you how much we love going to parks!!  They are free and sooo much fun.  Sarah and I go to all different kinds of parks, we like to change it up!  It took me a hour of driving AND gas to find this park..hahaha, but we found it and we had a great time!  It was sooooooooo HOT outside which made it such a nice day and so first we went on a little walk which was way way fun because it was Sarah's first covered bridge and for some reason she found it VERY entertaining!  We walked the bridged and looked at all the pretty nature around.  Sarah was so funny because when she saw that water she was like, "MOMMY, the water is BROWN!"

We were enjoying our time underneath the shade because of the heat, even though we would prefer heat over the cold!!!!!!!

Sarah loves going to parks mainly for this reason right here...SHE LOVES TO PLAY ON THE PLAYGROUND!!!

Father's Day

For Father's day I did not have Sarah of course because she was with her dad, but my sister and I spent the day mostly the afternoon with our dad.  We didn't do much we just ate some STEAK, YUM!  and of course I love that and we just really relaxed, we went to the store together and just more focused on being with each other than doing something.  My brother had to work so we missed the afternoon with him.

I am sorry to say that I have no reports on Sarah's father's day.  I know that she picked out a cute card to give to her dad for father's day, but other than that I am not sure how her day went with him.

Toy Story 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My boss knew how much I wanted to take Sarah to see Toy Story 3!   Well the day it came out was also the day that she was going to her dad's for the weekend. I had 3 hours before he would come get her when I got off work and I thought I would have time to make it, but the only times were 2:40, and then 4 and after that I wouldn't have had the time.  So my boss comes back from her lunch break early and gives me a gift card to the movies and says if you leave now you should be able to make it with the previews and the short film,  So I left at 2:35 and the movie started at 2:40!  So we are driving there and I finally get to the movie theater at 3 and I was like can I get the 2:40 show and the man said you missed a few minutes but you should still be able to get it, so he gave me the tickets we forgot about popcorn and ran for the theater.  I get in there and for real there weren't any two seats available so I took the first seat on the isle that I saw and then Sarah just sat on my lap.  As I sat down and looked at the screen I didn't miss ANY of the movie I came in right at the end of the short film, I started to cry because I was so happy!  Sarah loved it and the moment she say Buzz she got that giddy little laugh that she does.  We had a wonderful time and Sarah was super happy.

Inter-Urban Park

So this past Thursday, or well a week ago, not this last one we went to this little park down the ways from my work.  It was a little old fashioned I think, but Sarah still loved it.  This slide in this picture Sarah could not get enough of, it was taller and longer than some of the normal ones that we go to.  She has so much fun and I think she went down this slide at least 15 times in a row!
Sarah kept saying to infinity and beyond when she was getting up on this slide, in case you didn't know she loves Buzz Lightyear.

I love to take pictures with my darling baby girl, as the days go by I love seeing how much she looks like me, I love showing her pictures and she is like mommy look that's me, and I am like no honey that is mommy.  The big difference between her and I is that she has curly hair and I have straight hair in my baby pictures, but we look soooo much a like!
Sarah said, "Mommy, I have found a secret cave!"  If that means she is going to have an imagination then that's awesome!!!

For some reason I love getting pictures of Sarah in front of the signs of the parks we go to for some reason, at this point in time Sarah was ready to go and needed dinner!  We left and Sarah had a wonderful dinner, I love cooking for her!

Dr. James A Dillon Spray Park

This little event happened about 2 weeks ago and I just haven't had the time to post them so here it is!  On Thursday afternoons I like to take Sarah to a park of some sort, we call it Park Night lol.  So this week which like I said was 2 weeks ago we went to a spray park in Noblesville with Lauren, Brayden, Jacob, Amanda and Eli.  It was pretty fun and Sarah loved it but that is because she loves loves loves water!  We take her bucket so she can fill it up with water and dump it on me or whomever.  It was a great time and I love going to the spray parks since it makes her happy.

St. Simon Festival...PART TWO!!!

So when we left the festival on Friday night we had 6 extra tickets and my sister had 4.  Well I didn't want my money to go to waste since it was $1.50 a ticket!!!  So since Carolyn wanted to go...cause we talked about it a week before we went back and was Sarah excited or what.  So this time we started off with the bounce house stuff because those were the ones that required different tickets.  But before we went there I said that Sarah wanted to get her face painted.  The thing was is that she didn't get her face painted she got her arm painted but it was because the lady said she could do sleeping beauty on her arm which would match Sleeping Beauty on her shirt.  Sarah loved it so much and then Norah got hers so they matched well Norah had butterflies.  So after the girls got their arms painted and went through the bounce house we went over to get the other tickets for the rides.  The girls just had so much fun together and they always do and I enjoyed having one of my best friends with me (Carolyn).  At the end of the night Sarah and Norah tried a game where you through the darts and if you pop a balloon you get a prize.  I felt bad I didn't think they would win but it was so great Norah threw a dart and then she popped a balloon 2 seconds later Sarah threw a dart and SHE popped a balloon too!!!!  They both picked out the blue little alien it was a great night!
